Janet was added to Play's line-up in 2003 when original member Fanny Hamlin left the group. She started her solo career by recording promotional songs for everGirl and Build-A-Bear. She also did vocals for the Bratz Rock Angelz CD in 2005. In 2008, she was featured on the first season of Made In Sweden. The show documented Janet in the months before her debut album was set to release. During this time she also met Roger Moore and recorded a song for the movie Tomtar & Troll. Her debut album, titled Janet, was released on February 18, 2009. Her first single, Let Go, charted at #3 in Sweden. In 2010 she played Marty in the Swedish Broadway version of Grease. She is working on a new album and hopes to release an album in the US.
